Step 4: Service

Maintained every month

Service is the beating heart of the Redicare model. Our people show up on a reliable schedule to keep your facility ready, restocked, and compliant, with a goal to make every cabinet, bag, and eyewash station look like the day it was installed.

Need us sooner?

Emergency preparedness is our thing, so we understand that emergencies don’t wait for monthly appointments. If your eyewash station gets pulled, AED pads or responder bags get used, or your cabinet becomes depleted, we’ll send a representative to reset things within two business days at no additional cost.

Not your average technicians

We’re proud to have our field service representatives licensed and badged for some of the most secure and highly regulated spaces on the East Coast. Redicare reps are trained on the placement of every bandage and every piece of first aid equipment in your facility so they can do their job without interrupting yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there really no additional charges for service?

All standard supplies are replenished or replaced when expired within your contract price. We will replace emergency eyewash cartridges up to two times per year if the station gets used; additional uses of the eyewash station will incur replacement costs. There may also be costs if you require any supplies in your cabinet above and beyond the options we offer, or for one-off requests. Most clients never pay more than their usual bill, and those that do always know ahead of time.

What happens if I notice a problem between service visits?

Give us a call—we’ll figure out what’s wrong on the phone, then send a technician out if needed. Issues like blinking red lights on an AED or a broken seal on a responder bag are always worth a check.

How do I know the service was done?

On location, each piece of equipment has a maintenance log that will be dated and initialled at every visit. We also place a new Certificate of Compliance at the completion of each service, usually near a centrally located first aid cabinet, that summarizes the status of all equipment. You can also find service logs on Redi365, our portal for tracking your first aid program online. Multi-location businesses can see the last service date and status of each facility from the dashboard.

Is there a service contract, and how long is the term?

Our standard contracts are two years.
