The building blocks of a workplace first aid program are simple and consistent: the right supplies combined with people who know how to use them. But your building's hazards and the people who work there are unique. We work with you to identify what equipment and training you need, then create an evacuation plan using a 3D walkthrough of your facility so that anyone in the building knows where to go and what to do in case of an emergency.
We use a LiDAR camera to scan your facility and create a 3D virtual walkthrough, which sounds very impressive, but it's hard to know what you're getting from that description. Walk through the Redicare office to see where we've placed our first aid equipment based on our exits and hazards.
An evacuation plan maps out your facility's exits, first aid equipment locations, and designated assembly areas so everyone knows where to go and what to do in case of an emergency such as a fire or medical issue. We design it based on your building's specific layout and hazards, then produce easy-to-read signs with clear “You are Here” indicators to post throughout the facility. It's included as part of the planning step for every Redicare client.
No, we can create an evacuation plan and place your first aid equipment based on your existing floorplan and a thorough understanding of the hazards in your facility. However, scanning your building to create a 3D virtual walkthrough is still beneficial as an ongoing resource, especially if you manage multiple facilities.
LiDAR is a scanning technology that uses lasers to measure distances and map physical spaces in three dimensions. We use a handheld LiDAR camera to scan your facility and stitch the result into the 3D virtual walkthrough you see above: accurate enough to place first aid equipment, identify hazards, and map evacuation routes without needing an architectural drawing.
