WWJ Bob Marzolf was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2017 at 49 years old. It was found as he was being intubated for his second hernia surgery. They saw a small area on his tongue. Researchers at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute took a deep dive into the significance of breast cancer screening and the recommendations for women who carry the pathogenic breast cancer gene- (BRCA) 1 and 2 variants.
